I enjoyed the whole series from the Early Years onwards....I used to teach a thematic approach when I was teaching but the Australian curriculum is no longer geared for the thematic approach. It is entirely based on subjects and not child centred at all, which is an absolute crime.

The aspect that I like the most about the green school structure is that it allows unity, creativity (which promotes emotional growth) as well as real world knowledge aspects. I live in the southeast USA, we are a highly agricultural section of the united states, with that being said I would bet only 2 of the 3 people I went to school with could grow or find their own food. Schools I think have become to focused on a strictly text book structure and have taken a lot of the real world knowledge and inspirational creativity from the learning.

What I have to say is that , poor person can't go to school, for all things are affordable in schools nowadays.
